It's not quite the end of the year... but it's wrapping up.

It's always fun to look back on the year (so far) and see the what has changed and what has stayed the same.

Here are a few headlines that I can come up with in no particular order, with absolutely no research and coming solely from memory while I am sitting here at work:

1. Hoosier Tires taking over for WoO in 2013

2. K. Swindell wins 4th Chili Bowl... in a row

3. Schatz wins Knoxville (again) in impressive fashion. Love him or hate him, you have to admit it was one for the ages.

4. Pittman wins first WoO Championship in first year with Kahne car (TBD)

or

4. Schatz pulls out impressive World Finals performance to win another championship (TBD)

5. Rico Abreu.

6. Christopher Bell.

7. Fred. FN. Rahmer.

8. Unfortunate spike in serious injury/fatal accidents in sprint car racing (really, the last 2 years)

9. Inevitable Kyle Larson destiny fulfilled

10. More impressive Kyle Larson driving

11. WoO is back on TV... and oh my goodness, it's not perfect... but it's back on TV!

12. Schatz's win total

13. Tim Kaeding, one of the most consistent and impressive 'true outlaws' this year

I know there is plenty more... but I should really get back to work. ;)

Please share your own thoughts and memories for the year.
