Austin remains in ICU at St. Johns hospital in Springfield Mo. with bruised lungs and eyes. Hope to stop by the hospital tomorrow for more information.
You will see he got himself out of the car but was too dazed to standup on his own.
This accident has to be one of the most violent crashes I have seen in sprint car racing. Keep this personable young man, wife and family in your thoughts and prayers for the next couple of days and weeks.
WAR sprints had more than a full field of sprints for their show at the speedway. Heat races were won by Cody Baker, Casey Schuman, and Mitchell Moore. The A-main was marred by several yellow flags. Enjoy.
