Furr Leads Taco Bravo Series Into Penultimate Event at Ocean Speedway
(Watsonville, CA)- As the competitive 2013 season for the Ocean Sprints presented Taco Bravo winds down, Brad Furr leads the way as the series is set for their penultimate event tomorrow night at the Ocean Speedway.
Having a strong 2013, Furr enters the event with a comfortable 36 point lead over Kurt Nelson, after he rallied from a near disaster just one week ago, and scored a fifth place finish.
With 40 points available on each race night, Nelson will look to be on top of his game with just two races remaining as he looks to close in on Furr. Fresh off of a third place finish last week, Nelson will look to stay strong and take a chunk out of Furr’s lead.
Other driver’s that will likely be in attendance are Bud Kaeding, who put on quite an exciting charge last weekend, Jeremy Chisum, Carson Macedo, Jerry Bonema, Jason Chisum, Ryan Rusconi, Koen Shaw, Nick Foster, Jr, Justin Sanders, and many more!
Also on the card Friday night are the Wingless Sprint Cars as they run the Walt Branco Memorial, the American Stocks, and the Sport Mods. As always the spectator gates open at 4:30pm.
