Tony Stewart Racing and Bryan Clauson Set to Defend Western World Title

 

Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (October 1st, 2013) – 2012 USAC Driver of the Year, Bryan Clauson, sets his sights on The Sands Chevrolet USAC Western World Championships Presented by The Racers Advantage Store.  The three day stint a top the 1/3-mile clay oval will be the first stop for Clauson and the USAC National Midget Western Swing as he continues his quest for a national midget championship and will also pilot the TSR Sprint Car Entry to defend his 2012 Western World Title.

 

Clauson, who has recently dominated Canyon Speedway winning the Hall of Fame Classic, The Winter Challenge, The Copper on Dirt and The Western World all in the past two years, made his USAC National Sprint Series debut just two days after his 16th birthday on June 17, 2005 and has since recorded more than 80 victories in Sprint Car and Midget competition.  Clauson currently sits second in USAC National Midget standings while he leads the points for the USAC National Sprint Cars.

 

With $20,000 on the line the top USAC drivers from around America will congregate in the west at Peoria, Arizona’s Canyon Speedway Park for three nights of USAC National Midgets and USAC Southwest Sprint Cars vs. USAC West Coast Sprint Cars.  A $7,500 winner’s share will be up for grabs in both Midget and Sprint Car competition as well as the E & K Construction $5,000 bonus for any driver able to win both the Midget and Sprint Car Titles. 

Three-day tickets purchased prior to the October 1 early deadline will be discounted at just $60, with VIP Suite tickets for all three days available for $90 and All Access Passes for $105.  After October 1, three-day tickets will be $65 with VIP Suite Tickets at $95 and All Access Passes at $110.

Single day tickets are $20 for both Thursday and Friday and then $25 for the November 16 Western World Championships finale.
