This weekend is the Haubstadt Hustler at Tri-State Speedway in Indiana. It is a co-sanctioned event with both the USAC and MSCS sprints on hand.
Last year's event was probably the best sprint car race i've ever witnessed. Daron Clayton started dead last in the B main after his car would not fire for hot laps or heat. He worked his way to an A main starting position. Then from the back again he drove the wheels off his car using up every bit of the track. He worked his way to the front. Then when he got to second he found himself behind Kyle Larson in the fox 53. In the closing laps they threw sliders corner after corner. Clayton finnaly got arround him and picked up the 10k check. Larson Said in victory lane that he heard the crowd and knew he was in trouble.
Just can't wait for the weekend.
