Most recent issue of Flat Out, (August) an "In Memoriam" of Jason Leffler by Kevin Eckert reports that it cost Joe Gibbs $7 million to buy out Jason Leffler's Fed-Ex Nationwide contract. First thing Jason did was pay some money to those that helped him along the way, mentioned were Bud Kaeding and Damion Gardner. 2nd thing: buy a Kasey Kahne winged 410 sprint car and go out and try to learn winged sprint car racing, something he hadn't done before. He was flying from his home in North Carolina to Pennsylvania and a few other places each week to race winged sprint cars.
Here's a guy with nothing to prove who won at least one race in the Nationwide series and at least one in the Nascar truck series, won 3 USAC championships, and he's out there doing this. Reminds me of one person: Shane Hmiel, a bonifide star in Nascar who had never driven on dirt before going to USAC, in fact I don't know if he had driven sprint cars or midgets at all before losing his Nascar job.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.
