FRIDAY WATSONVILLE USAC SPRINT & MIDGET INFORMATION

SANTA MARIA, CA – JULY 10, 2013... When the USAC Western Classic Sprint Cars and Honda Western Midgets race this Friday at Watsonville, there are several notes that competitors should know.
1- The driver’s meeting will be at 4:45pm sharp.
2- Transponders must be rented from track unless teams have their own AMB transponder. Transponder numbers will be recorded for scoring purposes.
3- All competitors must run quiet mufflers at Ocean Speedway. The track has a strict muffler rule and all competitors must meet 95dB at 100 feet. Local track sound standards must be met in order to compete and failure to do so risks disqualification.
The opening night of the “Howard Kaeding Classic” will also showcase the BAD Dwarf Cars, Sport Mods, and Wingless Sprints. The Spectator Gates at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds will open at 4:30pm with Racing set to begin at 6:00pm. Ocean Speedway is located on the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds in Watsonville, California at 2601 E. Lake Avenue.
