An amazing race. Quite possibly the best of the year. 3 wide for the lead on the white flag lap that ended up having Stevie nip young gun Brent Marks. Ironically, 2 weeks ago on a regular Friday night at the Grove Brent Marks had a last lap pass on Stevie to win.

My first trip to Lincoln. Huge crowd! Marks had such a big lead, I was focused on Freddy/ Dietrich/ Monteith duel; when I looked up front, Krimes & Smith were right on Marks' tail. Great finish, beautiful weather too!

The battle for the last spot in the B main was good as well. the 55K pushing the 99 through the corners was exciting to watch. I'm thinking we should see this more often. Too often there are cars up front that are slow enough to be in the way of the guys who are obviously faster and want to run the same line. The pushes were very clean and effective in my opinion.
