6/9 RPM Summer Shootout Rained Out; Big Night Set for 6/14

The crazy weather stats for 2013 keep piling up, as today’s highly
anticipated RPM Summer Shootout at RPM Speedway in Crandall Texas has
fallen to heavy rains. A possible reschedule date is being researched,
and will be announced when known.
Just yesterday, a “40% of
t-storms” were added to this morning’s forecast, and the actual result
blanketed the Metroplex with over an inch of rain…with it still coming
down at the time of writing.
Moving forward, this coming Friday
night, June 14th will be a very full night of racing action at RPM
Speedway. Here are the specifics:
$1,000 to win USRA Modified
feature (from 5/24, field is set), $500 to win Street Stocks feature
(from 5/24, field is set); then we'll run the regularly scheduled points
race for RaceSaver Sprint Cars, USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Limited
Modifieds and Factory Stocks. (The 5/24 make up feature for the
RaceSaver Sprint Cars will now be held on Friday July 19th.)

exciting twilight racing program with the first running of the RPM
Summer Shootout.

MANDATORY* WHEEL PACKING 7pm (ALL CARS, ALL CLASSES)
DRAW CUT OFF & HOT LAPS at 7:30pm SHARP
FIRST GREEN FLAG is at 8pm SHARP
REGULAR
GRANDSTAND TICKET PRICES ($12 for adults) and pit passes ($30 for all
ages) are in effect, with no driver entry fees in any division.
*Mandatory
Wheel Packing from 7-7:30 for all cars in all classes. If your car does
not wheel pack by 7:30 (at the time of the draw cutoff), you will start
your heat race at the tail of the field and there are no passing points
for those drivers. This applies to all drivers in all race divisions.
