WEST COAST SPRINTS RETURN TO KINGS SATURDAY
The USAC West Coast Sprint Cars return to Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif. Saturday and thirty points separate the title combatants Ryan Bernal and Richard Vander Weerd.
Bernal has a near-perfect record this season with five wins and two seconds in seven races! He won at Hanford in May, a race featuring four different lap leaders. He has a string of three wins in a row.
Vander Weerd has a pair of wins and three seconds but was 18th (last) in the May race at Hanford.
So dominant have been Bernal and Vander Weerd this year that nobody else has a win so far!
Danny Faria Jr. has compiled seven straight finishes between fourth and eighth and was fourth in the May Kings feature.
