CRA RESUMES AT WATSONVILLE JUNE 14;
MITCHELL GRABS “SALUTE TO INDY” AT THE PAS
Thirty-one points separate AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint car point leaders Damion Gardner and Nic Faas as the series prepares for a June 14 race at Ocean Speedway in Watsonsville, Calif.
Matt Mitchell of Yorba Linda, Calif. led all 30 laps of Saturday night’s “Salute to Indy” race at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway. Trailing Mitchell’s MPD Racing/ART Enterprises ART/Parker were series point leader Gardner, David Cardey, Bud Kaeding and fast qualifier Faas.
Mitchell’s victory was his fifth in series competition as he repeated his 2011 victory in the Memorial Day weekend race.
