Jojo Helberg, Rohnert Park, CA, captured the pole for the 65th annual Little 500. Nine time winner Eric Gordon and Shane Hollingsworth will share the front row on Saturday.
Other California drivers in the field include multi-time USAC West Champion Tony Hunt. Tim Barber is on the entry list but has not turned any laps to this point.
39 cars took time yestereday with the top 15 locked in. Today, the remaining 33 spots are filled with "bump day" qualfying.
