36TH “VUKOVICH CLASSIC” SATURDAY AT MADERA
The 26th running of this Saturday’s “Vukovich Classic” salutes one of auto racing’s most celebrated families as the USAC Western Midgets and BCRA Midgets combine on the one-third mile paved Madera (Calif.) Speedway oval.
Chad Nichols of Colma, Calif., the defending winner of the race, currently stands fifth in the standings, trailing point leader Kody Swanson by 43 points.
Swanson, of Kingsburg, Calif., won this year’s USAC Western Midget Pavement opener, held March 23 at Madera.
