FRIDAY'S OCRS EVENT @ HUMBOLDT SPEEDWAY IS CANCELLED
Friday's OCRS event at Humboldt is cancelled
Tulsa Oklahoma (April 16, 2013)
– Due to the high percentage of unfavorable weather forecasted for the
Humboldt Kansas area this week, officials of the Oil Capital Racing
Series and the Humboldt Speedway have cancelled the sprint car portion
of the program originally scheduled for this Friday night. Humboldt
Speedway has not cancelled their regular division of cars scheduled to
race at this time. A make-up date is being considered for later in the
season for the OCRS sprint cars.
The next event for the OCRS
travelers will be on Saturday April 27th at the Outlaw Motorsports Park
in Wainwright Oklahoma. The track is now under the direction of Carey
and Nichole Menasco. Improvements have been made to the sleek facility
and the OCRS series will look forward to seeing everyone there on April
27th!
