Does anybody have information (including photos) on the racing career of Andrew Conrad "Andy" Brown? He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on February 15, 1944, and raced pavement supermodifieds (Oswego 1967-71, Delaware, etc.), sprint cars (USAC 1970-75), and late models (Cayuga, Delaware, etc.). Also, on April 7, 1974, Pittsburgh's Andy Brown became the last NHL goaltender to play without a mask when he played his final league game for the Penguins, a 6-3 loss to the Flames, at the Omni in Atlanta. Any information would be appreciated at [email protected]. Thanks!

There is a player in the UHL right now that races dirt modifieds during the off-season. His name is Jarad Bourassa. He played here in Rockford for a little while before we traded him, and he was super freaked-out the day I brought him a photo of himself racing in Minot, ND to autograph. He couldn't believe that anybody in IL had seen him race.
I love it when my two favorite sports collide.

The last player to go 'lidless' is a local boy from here in London, ON. Coach Craig MacTavish of the Edmonton Oilers. Great guy, very good golfer back in the day, Take It Easy....
PS Delaware Speedway where Andy raced is also located here on the outskirts of London, I don't remember him from back in the day though, my bad.....
