You can buy from Summet rubber shock covers like on a motorcycle for about $3.00 each. They are towards the back of book. These fit small body shocks. You can get the larger ones for big body shocks at a motorcycle place. The snap on carbon fiber ones cost alot, but you can also get plastic ones for $9.98 each. I find it strange that most USAC sprint and midget cars have used shock covers for years and years. Since the shocks have become so costly for the new types finally winged sprint cars are starting to use them. We have used shock covers for about 20 years, and we were the only ones. I think a $150 shock should be protected along with the $600 shocks.
