SATURDAY’S “BATTLE AT THE BEACH” INFORMATION

SANTA MARIA, CA – APRIL 5, 2013... When the USAC Western and VRA Midgets clash this Saturday at Ventura Raceway, the “Battle at the Beach” winner will take home $1,500. The first of four events sponsored by Automotive Racing Products will also feature Dwarf Cars, IMCA Modifieds, Mod Lites, Focus Midgets, Go-Karts, and Quads. The Pit Gates will open at Noon, the Front Gates will open at 3:00pm, with Racing set for 5:30pm at "The Best Little Dirt Track In America."
Competitors must run the approved track mufflers:
A. Schoenfeld, 1. Part #14272735
B. Extreme Muffler, 1. Part #3512-3030, 2. Part #3512-3030SS
3. Both mufflers must be used in conjunction with insert 2312-30
D. Coast Fabrication

In addition, Saturday’s purse at Ventura will be based on car count.

Ventura Raceway is located at 10 West Harbor Blvd in Ventura, California. Adult tickets are $15, Seniors, Military, and Student tickets (with ID) are $11, and Children’s tickets (12 and under) are FREE.
