And he can thank a flat tire for the win. If Larson had not gotten the flat he would have finished second. Other than some cars "mixing it up" back in the pack there was little to no passing. I will say, Larson put on a show when he re-statrted last. He was flying high and got around a few cars. The DASH was a good example. First seven cars finished exactly where they started! Heat races were the same way.

Then Tim Shaffer can thank a blown engine on the final lap of the 50th Nats., TW can thank a blown tire at the KR on the final lap, Sides can thank 15 blown tires at the KR. What ifs what ifs........ Bottom line he won no matter the circumstances. How bout them whoseyours tires!

When you go to the bank, they don't ask about tires or how you got there, they just ask how much is the deposit. sorry Kyle

Larson ran over a bumper that fell off of TMac's car that caused the tire to explode. So far, the Hoosiers have been a very reliable tire.

Hoosier's have been reliable. How has the racing been though? This is not the first single file race I've heard about so far this year. Just saying.....

Seems I have heard of 1 or 2 going down about every WoO show this year, if they were Goodyears people would be throwing a fit but since they are Hoosiers it's perfectly acceptable.

Single file racing is a result of track conditions, not the tire. Racing at Stockton and Chico were pretty good, and the first night of Tulare, in spite of the track being rough, was not bad either. There was a top and bottom last night, just the bottom was as good or slightly better than the top. A tire going down and shredding when something is ran over are 2 different situations. Even when the track rubbered down at Tulare by lap 5 a few weeks, i don't recall any tires going down.

IF promotors would watch the race and it's a 40 lap race and see the guy in 2nd has a shot they should add a lap. I hate seeing posts where IF he had 1 more lap he would have won...

Sammy has had SEVERAL wins taken from him due to a flat tire. Larson is not immune to misfortune.

So, Larson was responsible for his own demise?

LOL!

If running over debris on the track is being "responsible for his own demise", then, yes, i guess he was, using your logic.
