ian madsen wins both nights of the $50,000 to win scott darley memorial at the sydney speedway. ian was top point scorer in the preliminarys and took the option to start at the rear to win the $50,000. this race was unbelievable, a hollywood scriptwriter couldn't have written a better story! ian got up to 4th then his engine stopped. he got a restart at the rear again and got to the lead on the last lap. there was a lot more drama than i can write tonight....just unbelievable.

Great drive from Ian with Grant Tunks in 2nd putting in a good one as well.Sure the 50 large will be handy when the team goes to the States.It will be funny with Ian driving for another owner while Barry Lewis (team owner)hooks up with another Aussie in Brooke Tatnell.And the great thing is no animosity with Barry and Ian likely to get together back in OZ next season.Just thought, what a great two car team,Ian and Brooke for an assault on Australia's big money events next year...Lewis /Caunt Racing????just a thought.haha.

The word after the race was... Traction Control...Under the seat... but the true story is the driver knew how to run the throttle on a slick racetrack..good job Ian & Barry and Crew

What a crock of sh#t. If anyone cares to watch the video you will see that he is almost out of control around the cushion of a lot of the race trying to make it happen, his right foot was his traction control. Why is it that BS has to come out and put down a truly great drive? I suppose jealousy is always a curse!!
