I love sprintcars too,but for the promoters sake keep booking monster trucks,i have been to a couple different tracks,the regular 7 or 8 division shows that run weekly cant compete with those darn monster truck shows,really they sell out.the promoters i have talked to say the year is made on those monster truck shows.they dont even come close.remember promoters have to make money or shut the doors.heres an idea run monster trucks and sprint cars at the same event,then everybody will be happy.

Monster trucks pack the Metrodome in Minneapolis with crowds bigger than anything aside from the Nationals and School bus night at Cedar Lake rivals their biggest racing crowds of the year. Hard core Sprint Car fans cover your ears and close your eyes if you're easily offended. We love Sprints but we're a niche market and that is painfully illustrated when Monster Trucks and School buses out draw the Sprints. I don't know the solution or how to get the kids interested in Sprints but I hope to figure out the secret and offer consulting services to the promoters someday. ;)
