I compared Jacksons new payout schedule for the 360 sprints vs. Eagle Raceways 305 IMCA RACESAVER sprints and was somewhat surprised. Based on 10 cars the RACESAVER series pays a total purse of $3445 vs. Jackson (ASCS 360s mind you) pays $3000. Just an observation.

In addition, the purse for 305s at Jackson is $1500.

I'm not trying to bash Jackson or Jon, I'm just trying to make a point that if we want to have weekly sprint car racing, this could be a viable option in the future.

The car count was suffering pretty bad at Jackson last year. Is it gonna get better? I don't think a RR tire rule is going to turn things around.
