I want to tell you about a great racer and a great guy. A true Champ in my eyes. Dave Darland. I was very fortunate to meet him on several occasions, Osky, Chili Bowl and Knoxville. From Knoxville last year I got a phone call from him and it made my day, to say the least. I am now bedridden and chronically ill, but never too ill to keep my eye on what he is up to and wishing him the best of luck this year. Yesterday I recieved two signed photos of him and I, taken in 2011 and a card. It made me smile. Thank you Dave Darland for taking time out to bring a smile to my face.

dave is just all you say and more i have watching him for years and he is for the peoples champion hope you get well quick so you can get back to going to the races
