Not to get lost in the wave of activity over the past two weeks is Stephen’s daughter, Ashley. His daughter continues to struggle with the pain of losing her dad and is facing the reality of growing up without him. Ashley loved her dad dearly. There is something truly special about the love between a father and a daughter. They enjoyed eating at La Comida in Chico, spending time together at home and at the race track. Ashley was Stephen’s biggest fan! Stephen loved his daughter deeply and they made each other smile. She adored her dad and loved to spend time with him. He would take her to work and they would drive the golf cart together and play with the barn cats.
