I'm not at this year's Chili Bowl so I can't see in person the area of Sammy's car I'm curious about. In the video and in the still shot shown on the Hoseheads main page it appears there's some type of slanted airfoil device inside the cockpit and behind Sammy's head. It's painted black just like the car. I'm wondering if its been there previous years and if any other car is so equipped?? Thanks in advance for any information.

I doubt it. Smart idea. I bet it acts as a wing to keep the ass end planted.
