Since Sunday night, I've had a couple busy days at work, so I finally made time to upload photos from all the action at Cedar Lake last weekend. It started out on Saturday, with a wonderful 50th Anniversary celebration and the annual Fireworks show. On Sunday the WoO Sprints and DTRA Mods put on a good show for a very nice crowd.

Included with the racing photos are pictures of the Cook family as they were honored on Saturday night. I want to say a personal thank you to the Cook's for building such a great facility which hosts some of the best racing in the country. Not to mention all the great fun had by all camping at the track and being part of the tradition that is the Cedar Lake Speedway. I've been attending races at Cedar Lake since I was about 3 years old. My dad raced there when he was high school aged. I remember fondly the numerous times my parents and/or grandma took my brothers and I to the races at CLS. Thanks again to the Cooks for building such a great tradition for all of us to enjoy. Also, a tip of the hat to the Kaufman's, Brad Both and Ron Bernhagen for honoring the cooks on Saturday and for doing a fine job of continuing the tradition.

Visit www.vfcfunding.com and follow the Track Rat Photos links to the photo gallery.

Enjoy!

Vinster.
