Just wondering when they made the qualifying nights for the gold cup worth full points...do not recall this being a full points race at all...just show up...

For Saturday they will take the top 20 in points from the last two nights and then all the others will race for the final four spots in the feature. I miss the "old days" when there were 80+ cars and you ran separate shows on Thur and Fri. Economy sure has hit sprint car racing out here.

When they no longer split the field, you're essentially running 2 full outlaw format nights to set up Saturday. Whenever they run the outlaw format, they consider it a full poin night.

Word here from WoO officials is there are only taking the top 16 in pts after the two combined nights. Looks like there will be 2 B main events, taking 4 from each.

Oh.by the way,where is the two time world champion and the T.T. 21 car,its almost in their backyard and no show yet,amazing.Musta put the Garrett rocket motor back under the bed 'til next year.....oh well.
