Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders Dominate Davenport Friday!
(Bill W) September 5, 2012 – The Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders will make their first ever appearance this Friday night, September 7 at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, Iowa. The event marks the last event before the season finale will crown the 2012 champion on Saturday, September 29 at the 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa!
The "East/West Clash of the Best" will feature some of the best stars and cars of the Midwest battling on the big half-mile! "Flyin'" Ryan Jamison leads the Sprint Invaders in points and into Davenport. The Mediapolis, Iowa native one the first half of the Twin Features held at 34 Raceway three weeks ago. Jayson Ditsworth captured the second feature.
Two-time series champion, Bobby Mincer runs second in the points race followed by Knoxville regulars, Russ Hall and Tony Shilling, and Springfield, Illinois' Jordan Goldesberry. Jimmy Davies, John Greenwood, Andy Huston, Justin Parrish and Ben Wagoner round out the top ten and are also expected to do battle in Davenport.
Grandstands open at 5:00 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 6:30 and racing to follow. Tickets are just $18, with teens and seniors admitted for $16. Children 10 and under are FREE! For more information, visit www.drttrak.com!
