Same Track, well almost, late evening showers came thru and wet the track making for a rather tacky surface and a completely different type of race.
Speed up against the cushion and play dodge cars with the lap traffic, that was the key to winning or making it to the end of the race. As usual the conditions were the same for all so everyone still had a chance to win.
A new face made his appearance in the front of the field, Don Droud jr. qualified well and started on the front row with Danny Lasoski, this would be important as passing was not at a premium with the track condition.
