The photo of 501 modified was driven by Ronnie Brotherton who won the modified championship in 1968. That car was sold to a Texas interest for $5000 at the end of the 68 season

That was a incredible amount for a 6 cyl. mod car.But Ive a lot of stories of how great the 501 car was on the track.So whoever got it probably made out like a bandit in Texas.
