After a couple of reds (everybody OK) and several yellows, Willie Croft in the Tom Rolfe #10 was the winner. He started inside the 2nd row (as I recall). 2nd was Sean Becker in the 35m and 3rd was Brent Kaeding in the 69. BK probably passed the most cars after having to go to the rear for changing a RR during the 2nd red.

Jon Allard also went to the rear for work on his car during the 1st red. He got back up to 5th. Pole sitter Johnny Gray was the first to suffer a penalty. Officials decided he jumped the initial start and sent him back 2 rows.

Congrats to Jim Richardson on getting the track into the best condition I've seen it in. Jim also had the loudest car on the track. He was running open headers while most of the rest ran their normal mufflers. No "sound cops" present. :)

Yes, I thought the night went well. Good car count for the tow up to Quincy. 21 cars. The people and fans are really great up there. After the races I was talking to an official near the bottom of the grandstand and two individual families came up to us and thanked us for coming to Quincy and helping work the show. That was refreshing to say the least....Curt did a good job promoting the event along with Jim Richardson.
