Sprints Invade Stock Car Country on July 7th!
Charlotte, NC: This Saturday night, July 7th, the Carolina RaceSaver®® Sprint Series will blister the I-77 Speedway as the series rolls into the Chester, SC facility for the 1st time. The track hosts a diverse range of stock car divisions and is a regular staple for fans on Saturday nights in the area. “We are looking forward to bringing the fans something different and at the same time help the new series in its growth” commented track spokesman Brian Autry.
The Carolina RaceSaver® Sprint Series was started by former NASCAR standout Ray Evernham which is growing in both team and fan support in the area. Running under the national sanction of the RaceSaver® banner, the series is able to reign in the high costs normally associated with open wheel sprint car racing while still supplying an ample amount of entertainment and adrenaline. Additionally, several teams from the VA RaceSaver® Sprint Series are also expected to travel south in support of the show.
Pit gates open at the track at 4pm on Saturday afternoon with the Grandstands opening at 5pm. Grandstand admission is only $12 for a complete night of racing action with children 12 and under are free with adults. Pit admission is $20.
