WEST COAST SPRINTS AT SANTA MARIA SATURDAY
This Saturday’s “Bud Stanfield Memorial” at Santa Maria (Calif.) Speedway finds Bud Kaeding with a healthy 59-point lead over Matt Mitchell in the latest series standings.
Kaeding has wins so far this year at Bakersfield and Tulare and his other three starts have produced a pair of seconds and a fifth! Mitchell has a second, third and two fourths in five starts this season.
Ryan Bernal won twice at Santa Maria last year, while Danny Sheridan and Jace Vander Weerd also posted feature wins at Santa Maria.
Bernal currently ranks sixth in the standings, while Sheridan ranks seventh.
