A lot of folks can't understand how we came
to have an oil shortage here in our country.
~~~
Well, there's a very simple answer.
~~~
Nobody bothered to check the oil.
~~~
We just didn't know we were getting low
~~~
The reason for that is purely geographical.
~~~
Our OIL is located in
~~~
Alaska
~~~
California
~~~
Coastal Florida
~~~
Coastal Louisiana
~~~
Kansas
~~~
Oklahoma
~~~
Pennsylvania
and
Texas
~~~
Our
DIPSTICKS
are located in
Washington , DC !!!!
yep they're in dc. But people blame liberals for us not drilling here in the states. Thats just more people getting spoonfed their own illegitamate brain matter. Truth we wanted all of the arab oil before we thought about our own.........the oil here could be drilled without destroying the environment with just a lil more effort ( although oil companies deem that as losing profit). But we didn't want arab countries making all that money and then investing back into their own country and military (kinda like Iran). We wanted to drill it for them, then make sure the royal families blew all the money on everything that we didn;t see as a threat to our foreign policy.....so that in the end we could control them, or at the leats they would not be threat. And in the end....while all the princes and sheiks of whatever were driving around in limos and building desert fortresses......the common people there were starving. This was their own leaders fault, but the problem is that it was done with US political support. This idea......along with many many other us foreign policies.......helped to create the "evil" we know as "terrorism". And of course it never helps when our good ol' allies the Saudi's took our US money and donated to over 300 different terrorist organizations throughout the world.
If anyone really wants to stop terrorism all they really need to do is look in the mirror and do some soul searchin before they go to the voting booths. O and quit watching the news. always amazes me that people think any of the news outlets in this country EVER tell the truth.
yep, oil is just another tax opportunity for liberal scumbags.
oil companies "earned" record profits when they made about 8-10 cents in profit per gallon last year...nevermind the 30-50 cents per gallon the govt tacked on in TAXES.
it's all in who you let hide the sausage in your back pocket OKC...you like taking the huge tax pounding from the confiscatory govt...i would rather let the businessman compete for his place in the market.
take the exxon/mobil's profit and multiply it by 4 and thats what the govt RIPPED off from the Amreican people for doing what? telling you idiots a bunch of horse crap to get you to drive an IMPORT...thats what!
Wonder what kind of pensions these folks would have had IF they had of invested the 16% of their pre-tax income in their own retirement? lol lol
Oh I forgot, it is 7.65% and the employer :matches that (who in here is stupid enough to think they match anything, that is money the employee WOULD have gotten)
I like to cook with extra virgin olive oil. It has a nice high smoke point and I really enjoy the extra flavor that it lends the dish.
What?
if the government was tackin on 30-50 cents in tax.....then unless you're completely retarded you would know that a whole lot of that money is going to back to the oil companies as well......or paying for defense contracts in Iraq.....screwed up either way.
My dad likes worcester sauce on damn near everything he eats. Its bad enough that I have instituted a mandatory 10 foot bubble around him whenever we go to racetrack in OKC. I can damn near smell it when he calls me. disgusting.
