Apple State Star To Make 2012 OCRS Season Debut Saturday night @
Oklahoma Sports Park

Tulsa Oklahoma (June 8, 2012) -
Snohomish Washington's talented open wheel racing star Gary Taylor will
make his 2012 Oil Capital Racing Series debut tomorrow night in Ada
Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Sports Park in the East vs. West Sprint Car
Shootout. Taylor has won open wheel races in various types of racing
machines. Winged cars, non-winged cars, sprints, midgets and micros, the
cagy veteran has flaunted his skills in all of them. Taylor will be the
pilot of the Tim O'Toole owned #15x. With a motor supplied by Carter -
Davis Machine in an Eagle chassis, the car is backed by Sagebrush Oil
Field Services / Wolf Creek Cattle and the Diamond Cross Rodeo Company.
Taylor has seen victory lane in a couple of
occasions during 2012 driving other sprint cars for owners of other
venues and this weekend became available for the Taylor / O' Toole
combination to team up. The two were to compete in the 2012 OCRS season
opener at the Brill Motor Speedway in April, but a reschedule of the
original date due to a rainout axed those plans. "Gary had an
opportunity to compete in the Ada (Oklahoma Sports Park) event this week
and we decided yesterday (Friday) we would take the 15x out for a
spin," said O' Toole. "Gary is a great racer and I'm looking forward to
getting him out there and see how we will do. We are really excited to
have this opportunity to work together."

Taylor has also driven for some very well
known open wheel car owners including: Colorado's Harry Conklin, New
Mexico's Joe Herrera, Mike - Megan Eubanks of Tulsa and "Cactus Jack"
Yeley (Father of NASCAR driver JJ Yeley) of Phoenix Arizona just to name
a few. Taylor has recently relocated to Catoosa Oklahoma. The Taylor /
O' Toole duo just adds to the already stout level of competition of the
Oil Capital Racing Series. After the first six events of the 2012 chase
for the "Goodyear Tire & Rubber Championship", OCRS has aleardy
produced four different feature winners. Three time OCRS champion
'Jammin' Jamie Passmore, Danny 'Caretaker' Smith, Shayla 'Princess'
Waddell and Whit 'Gasman' Gastineau have all enjoyed the spoils of
victory.
