Team28/David Forbis Racing will be streaming live tomorrow night from Lonestar for the Southern Thunder Sprint event.

Just a heads up for the rest of you sprint fans who can't make it to a track this weekend. We're going to be streaming live tomorrow night from Lonestar Speedway during the Southern Thunder Sprint races.

Here's the deal, not streaming the entire night or even the whole field during the race, just us, our car, mainly for our family across the U.S. who would otherwise never make it.

We actually have a driver change this weekend, my brother David Forbis (the driver) is going on vacation so I've taped Jason Ingalls to fill the seat of the #28 Shed Road Auto Parts sprinter.

Jason races modifieds weekly at Lonestar and comes from a very accomplished racing family. His grandfather "Papa" Ray Ingalls, his father Doug Ingalls, Uncle Ricky, twin brother Justin Ingalls, and brother Doug Ingalls Jr. are a mainstay in the Ark-La-Tex area with seveal hundred wins to the family name from SUPR Late models to wing modifieds, and of course modifieds. Papa Ray and Doug raced against Gary Wright back in the day in the wing modifieds every weekend. In SUPR competition Doug is a 3-Time SUPR Champion and Ricky claimed that honor 1 time. Doug and Ricky curently rank 2nd and 9th respectivley on the all-time SUPR win list while Jason was the 1997 RoY for SUPR.

Some have even said the #28 on our sprinter might be a little Doug Ingalls influenced.

Jason is a talented driver in his own right, collecting multiple feature wins each year in his IRP modifieds which he builds. And on occasion he jumps into a wing modified every now and then where he averages over a 70% win ratio.

When we discussed who we might put in the car, the list was short, real short. Jason has done chassis repairs for us over the years and has commented a few times how he'd love to drive one of these. So, with his driving ability and the respect he has for his equipment and others, it was a no-brainer! We're all not looking to set the night on fire, just to bring a car, give a guy a chance, and have fun!

This will be our first event to stream live and all tests have had promising results. Here's hoping for a great night!

HOW TO KEEP UP: From our facebook page (David Forbis Racing) we will post status updates letting everyone know we're about to go out. We will do this for the hotlaps, heat, and feature. After each live session, that video will be on our channel for later viewing as well.

Here's the link to view it live.... http://www.ustream.tv/channel/david-forbis-racing

Good luck to all this weekend!

Rick
