As The Keizer Wheels 66 Mike Phillips Memorial continues to gain momentum while approaching the event dates, it brings along with it a new sponsor for 2012, NPS Racing. Located near the shores of Lake Ontario, NY and conceived 7 years ago by AMI graduate Will O’Connor, NPS has rapidly grown from a sportbike service shop to a leader in race engine building and cylinder head technology for motorcycle racing engines. Using their own, on premises, state-of-the-art engine machine shop and dyno facility, NPS has helped many racers win countless races and championships throughout the country, striving to beat the competition in performance, technology, and reliability. Whether it’s still in the bike, or dropped into a microsprint, NPS can do it. Check them out at www.NPSRacing.com!

As sponsors continue to stack up, so do pre-entries! And they don’t cease to impress as the next name to join the ranks is that of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania’s Shane Lewis. Preparing for, not only, his first trip to The Keizer Wheels 66, but his first trip to the Southern Illinois Raceway, it’s likely not to take Lewis long to settle in and find way to the front. With accomplishments consisting of the 2009 PA Speedweek Champion, the 2011 600 Pro Series Champion, and the 2011 PA Micro Mania winner, it’s clear that he has no reason to believe he’ll make this long haul in vein.

With the latest additions to the pre-entry list, The Keizer Wheels 66 Mike Phillips Memorial is already representing 10 different states across the country spanning as far west as Oklahoma and as far east as New Jersey. With this weekend being the cut-off for the pre-entry discount, it’s expected to see quite a jump in the entry count. Keep checking in at www.RaceThe66.com as the list continuously updates!
