The 84 teams that entered last year's Trophy Cup were mailed this year's entry form last month and have until May 31st to get their entry postmarked. Allowing time for the mail to reach Trophy City, on approximately June 3rd an entry form will be available on trophycup.org that any team can use to enter up to a maximum of 80 entrants. Once 80 is reached, an additional 10 will form a waiting list.
Racing at this year's $20,000 to win event is required to be eligible to enter the 2013 Cup when the winner receives $50,000. With the addition of the Thursday nonwing night, the total purse for the 2012 Trophy Cup is approximately $110,000.
