Enid Speedway Event Postponed

Tulsa Oklahoma (May 15, 2012) – Seriesofficials from Speedways Inc. along with the Oil Capital Racing Series, have announced that the OCRS event scheduled for Sunday May 27^th at the Enid Speedway in Enid Oklahoma is being postponed at this time. There is a need for additional equipment and supplies for the racetrack before the OCRS sprint cars can take to the speedway. Speedways Inc; the tracks promoter, is currently working with the Garfield County officials to have the issues resolved. Officials from each office are working to find a suitable replacement date.

OCRS sprint cars will still be in action over the Memorial Holiday Weekend as the Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee Oklahoma will start a doubleheader event on Friday night, May 25^th with the Caney Valley Speedway in Caney Kansas hosting the tail end of the weekend bookend the following night.
