The new configuration is nice but the track surface itself needs work. Rubber down and dusty for the featch. I figured with the money that I've heard the Gundaker's have they could provide a better race track than what I saw last night. I guess going to Haubstadt has spoiled me some what.:) Sides and Lasoski had a nice little battle in the opening until "J" drifted out in turn four and hit the wall. Was thinking I was going to see a replay of the 2004 King's Royal when Gharst popped his right rear with 15 to go but thankfully it didn't happen. At least Haud provided a show coming from 22nd to 7th. He did a great job out driving guys on the outside in the rubber. Good job Jac! McCarl and Tony Bruce tangled breaking the front axle on the #24. T-Mac gave him an earful of what he thought on the track.. I'm sure he wanted to give him a little something extra though.

Congrats to Brett Anderson on beating Josh Wise who drove on what little cushion was left in Pedregon's rice burner in the Powri midget featch.

Thanks for the news & notes Petey. How long has Lasoski been running a JEI, and why the switch?? Maybe Superchuck or others have the scoop??

Would you believe ole Super Chuck if he told you they rolled their first JEI out of the trailer at Eagle Raceway? How's that for irony. Anyway, the JEI ran real good there so they tried it again last night. Only had it out two nights but so far so good. I'm guessing it was time to try something new in an attempt to keep up with the 9 and the 15.
