Say you won the lottery or came upon a large amount of money...which driver or drivers would you help out? Mine would be Wayne Johnson an Chad Meyer ..Wayne cause that is one bad hombre and they both are talented drivers with the balls and wil to win!!!

If it was so much money i couldn't ever spend it all, it would be Shane Stewart as my #1 driver and let him choose his own schedule, and my 2nd team would be with Paul McMahan also letting him choose his poison!

Stevie Smith - One of the most underrated drivers of the "modern era". He sure racked up a LOT of wins in a short time and has struggled trying to get a decent ride in the past 15 years.

I think he has gotten a pretty darn good ride for this season!

Great topic, one I've thought over many times.
Shane Stewart & Paul Silva wouldn't scrounge for another used tire for sure. Wherever they want to run & whatever they want to run (agreed, Ozzie) and it's done.
Wayne Johnson would obliterate ASCS competition of any sort & drop the 410 on occasion.
Gary Wright would have a crew & whatever he wants so he & his dad don't have to work so hard to do what they do best.
Yeah, need to go buy some tickets & spread the wealth!

I think all of us true fans have thought about this while falling asleep at night.
I won't reveal my cards totally. I'd own a track first off. Then put a team together. 360 at first (TBD driver). I would flip a lot to some drivers but those I won't reveal. Well, Jac at least would have a money backed team for a few more Nationals, Royals and Gold cups!

Based on where I'm located and not liking to travel much I'd want to see my car/driver as often as possible in the best shows available in our area. With that in mind I'd get the best Sprint Car and Late Model gear available and find somebody who'd want to drive both of them. The closest big show is the $50,000 to win USA Nationals 32 miles from the end of my driveway. Of course there's the Knoxville Sprint Car Nationals and all the big Sprint races in the upper Midwest. We'd be a pretty busy team and could race a lot within a few hours of home.

I would buy a bad ass house with some acreage in Knoxville, I wouldn't sponsor any specific driver but rather spend my money J.W. Hunt style by rewarding lower budget drivers, local hard chargers or someone who just wadded up everything they have into the fence. This all after I quit my job :-)

Paintboss - you freak'n nailed it head-on. That is exactly what I'd do. How awesome would it be to walk into the pits, walk up to 'racer-x' after he finished 10th in the b-main and just tell him that I appreciate his being there for us the fans and by the way, here's some cash to cover your nights racing expenses plus some for a nice cold one for you and the crew..... Man, I'd love that!!!!!
Loved watching JW hand out bills.....

I would get Jim Bernheisel to build me a new late model and put the cigar chomping, mouthy, Jimmy Spencer in the car for the Prelude to the Dream,he might not win,but a rub mark or hit mark would be on every car he got near,in the old days ,he missed very few hits,he also hit his pop several times too but he got popped right back,it was a show. Now on second thought why a new car? Its just going to get torn up by him, maybe he can dig out an old 24 iron wagon and do it without me.Pebbles and Bam Bam
