An easier way to find out if they races are cancelled then calling the ticket office.

Text "Knoxville" to 84483 and Knoxville Raceway will send you instant cancellation information

on your cell.

What service are you using to do this? I want to introduce something like this at Nodak Speedway up here in Minot, ND. I ran across a website called rainedout.com that sounds like it would do something like this. I think weather announcements like this is a way better deal than having your race line get rung off the hook all afternoon.

Rainedout.com is what Knoxville is using. Just signed up myself, and it was right in the confirmation reply.

Ya, I just signed up and seen that too. This is a great service for any track and the best part is that it is free. No track should be without this.

I've been signed up on Rainedout.com for other, smaller local tracks, for a couple years. Very handy, can't believe Knoxville just got on the bandwagon.

My phone said we will receive 4 text messages a month. Well they have used 3 of them just for practice night. At this rate, we better hope there isn't a rainout for 2 races each month during rainy season
