Yours is the only racing column worth reading. I copied and pasted, saved as pdf, and put on my thumb drive this morning so I could read it at work. Reading the exploits of a real life racing nomad (Outlaw writer if I may) is rare in this age of endless Facebook and Twitter scoops, YouTube videos minutes after the conclusion of the race and press releases ad nauseum. I can be put to sleep by results and press releases anytime but I hang on the edge of my seat wondering what your latest route, racing companion, historical tidbit, cd, and observation is going to be. I'm seeing your column through the eyes of someone who is married and planted with way too many bills and obligations which seems to add to the intrigue.
