Neat piece. The graphic "Baylands Raceway Park, Fremont" is followed by an overhead shot of the whole track. That is not Baylands. Does anyone know what track that really was?

Premier Raceway in Australia. I bet if Terry Kniss could have fit as many butts in Baylands as that place has the potential to do it might have lasted a while longer :-).

My apologizes I will fix this .... it was unfortunate error on my part...
7:26pm...this has been fixed, unfortunately I wasn't able to find an ariel view of Baylands, if anyone has one you are more than welcome to email me one at [email protected]. Baylands was a hard track to find anything on. And I was getting it confused with the dragstrip. I'm 3 years into Sprint Racing so I've a ways to go to catch up with most of you veterans (and I'm not being cheeky when I say this).....so again my apologizes

:::: Nicely done its too bad a lot of tracks that you shown are gone. I was lucky enough to visit Baylands Raceway on opening day in 1981 it was a real nice facility I found it by following a pickup with a wing in the back on the interstate ,that was after driving 10 hours that day & I live in Canada . The closing is a great reminder we have to share our passion for Dirt Racing with everyone we know to keep it alive & growing Thanx again Gary

No worries. What you did was still great. I imagine you will have an image to work with sooner than later.

I don't have a still shot but I do have an ariel video of Baylands that I shot when we landed one afternoon on the drag strip.

Baylands was also a 3/8th's track instead of a 1/4 its listed at. Thanks for the video nonetheless, looks pretty cool.
