J. Allard, Ronnie Day & Sean Becker top 3. BK was in the lead most of the race but had engine problems 3 or 4 laps from the finish.
Are we having fun yet?

BK set a new track record qualifying. He was on a rail all night until the last couple laps and ended up coasting to a 7th place finish. I heard an electrical problem. Very good race, track was fast and tacky.

BK had them covered till a problem at the end. He ran 12.12 in qualifing for a new track record, Went from 6th to 1st in his heat in 2 laps, BK and Allard were visablly way faster than the rest of the field. Probally 10 360's at the track.....

Bill Cornwell in his own #3 was the highest finishing 360 in 9th and pocketed the $500 bonus that was awarded to the highest finsihing 360. Corwell spun early in race and went to the tail and had to come back and pass several cars Cornwell has high praise in the pits after the race for David Lindt, Jr. who helped him set up the car.

As a fan in the stands, what an awesome race last night. They had a nice car count of 28, all three heat races were won form the 3rd row, the last chance race has constant battles for the final transfer spot and the main event was just awesome. For me, I love to see the leaders have to battle through thick lapped traffic. At one point, the top four had to move through 7 or 8 slower cars all side by side. BK showed why he is the master as he came into this trafic in 3rd and came out in 1st. They had a nice crowd as the grandstand was packed.
I hope they can keep Petaluma open for years to come as this place is hooked up. Some of the best racing in the bay area!
