Listening to Jason,we just wanted to give him a vote of confidence on the decision that he and his wife made about their family.We never competed at that level but holding down a full time job as a weekend warrior,back in the day,made enough demands that we were forced into a like decision at approximately the same age.Our boys needed a Dad's firm hand and we have never regretted that decision,especially now that we have the luxury of retrospect.
(In reality,it all came about because I could not make three games at once AND attend the races,too.)
We remembered meeting Jason at a "barbie"at the Green's eleven years ago and were impressed at his sincerity so his performance and subsequent career success were not that big a surprise.Thanks for the memories,on behalf of all your fans.
