MEDIA: With the biggest races of the season taking place in Australia,
drivers utilizing Factory Kahne Shocks continue to take home big checks,
as Jason Johnson and Steven Lines picked up wins during the Australian
Title.
Wednesday night kicked off the event with “The Prelude to the Title”,
and Jason Johnson kept his up his down-under dominance as he picked up
with win at Speedway City.
The weekend event brought the best of the best to Speedway City, and
Steven Lines put his Monte Motorsports machine in victory lane.
“We’ve spent considerable time developing our FK shock package. I
think towards the end of the Classic weekend we really had this car to a
point where I was really comfortable,” said Lines.
The victory was especially sweet for Lines, as he was black flagged just a week ago after taking the lead late in a race.
In the US, Bud Kaeding competed in the Winter Classic, and the San
Jose, CA native put on quite the show during the three day event.
Kaeding opened the event by scoring a second place finish on Friday
night before he worked his way from the ninth starting spot to a third
place finish on Saturday, and ended the weekend with a monster run to
seventh from his 19th starting spot on his FK Shock package.
