The IRA 410 sprint car schedule has been posted on their website. Looks like a pretty good schedule as far as traveling is concerned for the southeast based Wisconsin and nothern Ill. teams that run the whole schedule. Twenty shows are in the core IRA area in Wisconsin. This should help some
of the lower funded teams to run at least the 75% of the shows that are required for the point fund.
I heard that Bob Walden will be in retirement from racing. Bob raced and was a car owner for over fifty years. If this is true we will miss
seeing Bob and his car in the pits. He ran as many shows as he could afford and did a good job for the funds he had.
Hopefully his driver of the past half dozen years or so, Don Goeden can find a ride.I hate to loose a car owner and driver like that.
The IRA needs dedicated teams like Bob's and quality drivers like Don Goeden in the series.
