The book "THE OFFY KILLER" CHET WILSON-THE MAN BEHIND THE LEGEND,

is now available at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame, the Belleville High Banks Hall of

Fame, and through Jerry Wilson at Chet Wilsons's Custom Engines in Wichita, Kansas.

This book covers the entire life of the racing Wilson family from their days racing midgets,

through the developement of the Chevy powerplant for sprint car racing, super modified

racing, and vintage racing.

In this 240 page book there are hundreds of photographs, including a brillant color section.

Photographers used in this book include, Leroy Byers, L.A. Ward, Warren Vincent, Jerry Leep,

Tim Malone, Tim Passmore, Armin Krueger and many others.

Articles, stories, and pictures, in the book feature drivers that include, Lloyd Ruby,

Jud Larson, Gordon Woolley, Thad Dosher, Jerry Stone, Jerry Blundy, Bobby Grim,

Dale Reed, Harold Leep, Grady Wade, Roy Bryant, Walt McWhorter, Cotton Musick,

among others.
