The WoO has been going down hill for about 10 years anyways.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

And yet - despite the naysayers - they keep packing the stands at tracks from coast-to-coast with the best winged sprint car drivers in the world...

Don`t know what part of the country you`re at, But they aren`t packing them in out west anymore. The two tracks I used to see the WoO at, One quit having them and the other still has them but they used to be reserved seating, now just general admission. Three years ago I arrived late, (work) Got a great seat after time trials. 2hrs later, the show was over and I was on my way home, and it wasn`t even dark yet!
I guess you could say I`ve been boycotting ever since!

Haha, more WoO bashing, wonderful.
I've been to WoO races all over the country, and most of them are packed, and all of them draw a much bigger crowd than what the tracks get weekly. So they must be doing something right.

You say we`re bashing, but we say the product just isn`t as good as it used to be. WRG is taking the WoO down a bad path!

Say it ain't so......I kinda liked that Krueger fellow, and his sidekick Bobby Hartslief, or whoever he was.....great group of guys! Where are they now...Colorado or somewhere? Hartslief might be back in South Africa....wait...there might have been some extradition thing going on that prevented his return. Who cares...all good things come to an end !

If I remember correctly, Krueger had something in his past involving a failed or liquidated bail bond business that had nbeen seized by the State, and Harstlief had been chased out of So. Africa for allegedly ripping the govt off for many millions that were supposed to go to build a track. That's what this sport doesn't need...bail bondsmen and escapees....or their prodigy !
