MEDIA- As the USAC National Sprint Car series comes to a close on
Saturday night, Bud Kaeding will climb aboard his BK Motorsports No.29
as he looks to score a win at the familiar Giant Chevrolet Kings
Speedway in Hanford, CA.
Fresh off a stout weekend at the Oval Nationals where Kaeding scored a
fourth place finish on the final night, the third Generation driver
heads to this weekends race already having scored a win at the speedway
earlier this year.
In three starts in Hanford this year, the Campbell, CA driver has
scored three top ten-finishes in USAC West Coast action including one
win, and one second place finish.
Kaeding has joked about coming up just short of victory lane over the
last month of the season, and nothing would be sweeter then to pick up a
big USAC National win in his home state as the season winds down.
“I’ve raced a little bit of everything this year, and this last month
we’ve been pretty good in anything that we have jumped in,” said Bud.
“All my guys have worked hard, and we have a ton of second and third
place finishes, so I’d really like to put this Alviso Rock/Sprint Car
Innovations/Kaeding Performance car in the circle this weekend for my
guys.”
